Nabil Helou, Lebanese sculptor

From Beiteddine, born in 1969, works and lives in Lebanon.

1995 – Masters in Visual Art at the Lebanese Academy of Fine arts ALBA.

1997 – 1998 Specialization in sculpture and in Virtual Sculpture at the “Ecole Nationale Supérieure d’Art de Cergy” ENSAC, France.

Professor of sculpture at the Lebanese Academy of Fine Arts ALBA.

AWARDS

2014 – “Contemporary Sculpture Award” presented by Macam museum, at the 5th Visual Art Forum, organized by LAAPS, at UNESCO Beirut..

2001 – Awarded by the municipality of Hull, Quebec, Canada.

2001 – Awarded by the Lebanese Ministry of Culture.

2001 – Silver Award of the 2nd Biennale of Latakia, Syria.

1998 – Special Prize of the jury at the “Salon d’Automne” of Sursock museum.

1995 – 1st Prize HARVEST 95 of sculpture.

– Gibran Khalil Gibran (Gibran National Commitee) trophy.

– The Golden Murex awards (annual award).

– The Cannes Junior – Beirut Festival 1997 trophy.
